Als insider die tientallen jaren heeft gewerkt aan en gebouwd heeft aan het Europese project, kwam zij tijdens de financiële crisis tot de conclusie dat de EU een ontspoord project is en zelfs een bedreiging vormt voor de vrede op het Europese continent.

Ulrike is een hoogleraar die is ontslagen bij de Universiteit van Bonn vanwege haar standpunt in het Oekraïne-Rusland conflict.
